Neighbourhood watch Message

 From PC 2201 Westmacott

We have been made aware by Mickleton Neighbourhood watch that there is an email scam currently being sent out by fraudsters.The email is supposed to originate from HM Revenue and Customs offering a refund they say is due. The HM Revenue has confirmed this is a scam and attached to the email is a virus.

If you see an email like this appears in your email in box delete it to protect your computer and becoming a victim of fraud.

Burglary in Stow

Sometime overnight on Thursday 3 March to Friday 4th March, a house was burgled in the St Edwards Road area of Stow-on-the-Wold. The rear patio door was smashed in the attack. Jewellery and cash were targeted.
Anyone seeing or hearing anything suspicious during the above times should call police on the 101 number.
Incident 40/304 refers.

A Silver / Green Subaru Legacy with loud exhaust has been linked with various crimes and attempted crimes in the North Cotswolds; should see such a vehicle acting suspiciously, phone 101 and quote incident 449 of 05/01/2015.
